Browser Caching

Browsers cache frequently used information such as graphics and web pages in order to save you download time when you're revisiting a site. The drawback to a large cache is that it can take up a lot of hard drive space. To limit the amount of space being used by your browser:

Internet Explorer - select Tools menu > Internet Options > Settings (under Temporary Internet files). Slide the bar under "Amount of disk space to use" to change the amount of megabytes or type in preferred cache size. Click OK.

Netscape - select Edit menu > Preferences > Advanced (under Category) > Cache (size in kilobytes). Type in preferred disk cache size. Click OK.
